Stage 1: Free Initial Consultation

We start by delving into your unique garden aspirations through a personalised consultation, conducted via an online meeting platform such as Google Meets. This initial session is tailored to your schedule, allowing us to discuss your specific project requirements and gain insight into your vision for your garden. We encourage you to share any photos or videos of your current space, as well as your ideas and preferences for its transformation. Our aim is to understand your needs fully and lay the groundwork for a collaborative design journey. Throughout the consultation, we'll provide examples of our previous work to inspire and inform your decision-making process.

Stage 2: Site Survey & Analysis

Following the initial consultation, we'll arrange an in-person visit to your garden. During this visit, our design team will further explore your vision, offering professional insights while on-site. Additionally, a specialist surveyor will take precise measurements of your garden, essential for producing an accurate design.

Stage 3: Studio Visit & 3D Design

Once your concept design is ready, we’ll schedule a virtual consultation to present our initial 2D ideas and ensure they align with your vision. After any necessary revisions, we'll invite you to our chosen venue at Burrough Court, south of Nottingham, for an in-depth exploration of the design. At this stage, we’ll convert the 2D concepts into immersive 3D visuals and produce a planting plan offering a comprehensive view of your garden. We’ll also discuss our design choices and provide expert recommendations on material selections, all while you enjoy a warm coffee or a chilled beverage.

Stage 4: Design Handover

Once the design is finalised, we'll compile your bespoke garden plans into a comprehensive design pack. This includes proposing our planting plans along with a schedule for implementation. Additionally, we will recommend and arrange a meeting with a suitable landscaper to ensure a smooth transition from design to execution.

The timeline for a design project can fluctuate significantly based on factors like size, budget and complexity.

Typically, our design projects span around 12 weeks from initiation, excluding time for the arrangement of surveys, meetings, and site visits.

While our typical schedule allows for 8-16 weeks for a design project, please note that certain factors, such as obtaining planning permission or addressing challenging design aspects, can extend the timeline. Therefore, we strongly encourage you to commence the design process early. Starting early enables us to effectively plan, schedule, and budget for your project.

After finalising your garden design, we will produce a full schedule for your gardens planting requirements alongside a quotation for this work to be completed.

We'll also connect you with a trusted local contractor who has the expertise to handle the specifics of your project. Together, we'll conduct a site visit to discuss the technicalities and ensure alignment with the design vision. This collaboration enables the contractor to develop a detailed scope of work tailored to your project's requirements.

Our landscapers and specialists are typically available for projects every 3-6 months, depending on factors such as team size and the availability of the recommended contractor. It's important to note that a reputable contractor is likely to have a busy schedule, which often indicates their credibility and demand for quality work. Therefore, scheduling may require flexibility to seamlessly bring your garden design to life to a high standard.

Our design projects generally start at around 50 square meters, although this can vary depending on factors such as location, budget, and specific design needs.

Typically, we undertake projects with a landscaping budget of £30,000 or more. If your budget falls below this threshold or is particularly tight, we recommend engaging a skilled landscaper for your project while still benefiting from our free resources.
